The ‘Free to Be’ campaign is all about
amplifying voices, challenging
stereotypes, and providing the space
to be your true, authentic selves.
It represents the breadth of the community, working towards inclusivity and providing a platform for folks with lived experience to tell their story.

The Cocktail
Bright Lights
Serving up cocktails for a cause. Curated by FHC Beverage Director, Trevor Kallies, the Bright Lights cocktail is as vibrant and colourful as Pride and perfect for summer patios and bustling beach days.
For every cocktail sold, $1 was donated to not-for-profit organization, Rainbow Railroad, which helps at-risk LGBTQI+ people around the world find safety and freedom.
The Artist
Tim Singleton
Toronto-based Tim Singleton is a designer and illustrator whose bright, vivid illustrations blend pop references, queer culture, and nostalgia with bold visuals and a bright rainbow of colours.
In addition to the custom packaging design, we also designed a limited edition merch line featuring tote bags, pins, stickers, and t-shirts.

“There’s a beautiful tangibility to starting with nothing and ending up with something, and that constant urge to make is motivation for me.”
- Tim Singleton

The Cause
Rainbow Railroad
Rainbow Railroad is an international organization that helps LGBTQI+ people escape violence and persecution to find a path to safety through emergency relocation and other forms of assistance.
We're showing our solidarity by joining their 'Solidarity in Pride' campaign to raise $50,000 on Tiltify.
Free to Be
(in the wild)
This campaign launched across all Freehouse Collective locations in Vancouver and Toronto. Components included custom menus, sandwich boards, posters, drag brunch events, and influencer partnerships.
At its core, the Pride movement is about the right of the LGBTQIA2S+ community to be who they are without fear, judgment, or discrimination.
Together, we can strive to build a future where diversity is valued, love is celebrated, and everyone is free to be who they are.
